Fat Forward Books is a community space that celebrates books by fat authors, about fat experiences, and featuring fat characters across every genre and age group. As part of the effort to showcase fat books, we publish a regularly-updated release list of new and upcoming titles. If you are a fat author or editor with a book releasing in 2026 and want your work featured on this list, please fill out the submission form!*
*Fat Forward Books does not accept pro-diet or pro-weight loss content. While we recognize that many stories about fatness (both fiction and nonfiction) discuss dieting, weight loss, and anti-fatness, we will refuse coverage of any work that presents these topics in a positive light. Additionally, Fat Forward Books does not accept racist, transphobic, homophobic, ableist, or classist work, and Fat Forward Books is anti-AI.
