In an interview with Fat Forward Books last summer, author Lizzy Ives teased the board game Bookwyrm: A Cozy Strategy Game of Beautiful Bookshelves, and I've been eagerly anticipating its release ever since. And guess what? It's on its way! On Tuesday, Ives's Sword & Rose Press launched the game on Kickstarter with a bevy of rewards made just for book lovers.

Bookwyrm is a strategy game for 1-4 players (ages 10+) in which you play a dragon who's hoarded too many books and must organize them, stat! By grouping books to score points and donating to friends to make room for new releases, knickknacks, and treats from the cafe, you can chart many paths to victory. There are more than 200 book cards with delightful puns on their covers, and there's even a bookstore cat who "helps" keep the game moving by knocking cards off shelves to refresh the draw deck.
