I'm tabling at Denver Zine Fest 2026!

If you're in the Denver area on Sunday, September 13, I hope you'll swing by Denver Zine Fest at the Denver Public Library (Central Branch) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT! I'll be tabling for the third consecutive year with zines, stickers, and free resources!

This year, you can grab physical copies of my Affirmations zine series for the last time (they'll only be digital once this print run sells out!), the 2024 edition of How to Speak Up Against Anti-Fatness, multiple perzines, mini-zines, and more!

I'll also have Fat Forward Books stickers including the one I designed for our Sparks Will Fly pre-order campaign with author Laurel Holl! Come by Table 18 (in the back left corner from the entrance) anytime to say hi, grab some zines or stickers, and/or talk about books.

From 1 to 2 p.m. I'll be upstairs in workshop room #2 on the "Workin’ It, The Professional Practice of Small Scale Publishing” panel with Peter Miles Bergman (Quimby's Bookstore, Chicago), Vera Benschop (Benschop Books), and Jeff Alford (Wig Shop)! Here's a description of the workshop/panel:

This audience discussion session will explore strategies on how to build an integrated creative and professional practice; actively publishing your work, and the work of others, while holding down a complementary career.

Our panelists are all active in publishing, production, and distribution of zines and comics and have developed their complimentary skill sets to both advance their publishing practice and their creative careers.
